About Us
Mount Maunganui Intermediate is a state school with approximately 500 students drawn from Mount Maunganui and Papamoa as well as from overseas.
Our school is organised into syndicates of Year 7 and Year 8 classes under the guidance of senior staff members. The home room teacher has the greatest contact with your child and is the person to whom you or your child goes in the first instance if help or advice is required.
The children in each syndicate often meet together for award presentations, singing and sports. We regularly group across the classes in subject areas to allow for individual differences and needs to be met. These groups are flexible and are altered as children learn. |
